On the way we stopped over with Tracey and Rod's rels Tony and Sonia in Dubai, they took us to dinner at a very upmarket golf club where Tiger Woods puts in an appearance at times. The club had beautiful views of the city and was a great end to our first day. The boys finished the evening in Tony's backyard - drinking and having target practice with his newly acquired air rifle.
An early start next morning put us on our flight to Roma, at Leonardo da Vinci. Our pre-arranged pickup arrived with a tiny Fiat to carry three enormous bike boxes and ourselves, tried removing bikes from boxes to make a fit but at this point the Polizia grabbed the guy. The Polizia organised a mini bus for us and booked our man.
Hi Pat & Tracey, sounds like you've had a few challenges...nothing that a nice glass of red can't settle. All sounds wonderful, thanks 4 the photos, you all look like your having a great time!
