Girl Talk - Part Two

The guys are still doing a fabulous job with their blogging, using their Ht thingy & iphone. Although I do contribute to their blogs, I've been focusing a bit more on survival than them, I think.
We have ridden over the Alps (yay!) and it is absolutely stunning. I rate it a 'Must Do'. Not as difficult, in itself, as the Appenines, but more arduous because we had ridden solidly for days beforehand, encountering headwinds and heat.
I freely sampled ALL the local dishes, girls, and found them to be excellent!! Verona (the beautiful) is a place where you wish you had 3 or 4 days and a big suitcase to shop and do coffee. The Swiss border guards are just sweet and Innsbruck would be a real cracker in the ski season.
Now we're on the River cycle routes that criss-cross Europe, the riding is more relaxing - dedicated cycle paths most of the time, short (5km) sections of good gravel now & again and continuously beautiful scenery.
I love reading your comments - many thanks for the support!
